Patuxent Companies celebrates over a quarter century in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
It started back in 1987, with a few used dump trucks and a dream (Flickr photos here). Patuxent Materials, Inc. started with a small construction aggregate re-sale yard and associated hauling operation has grown into a market leader in the local aggregate industry with multiple quarry, recycle and hauling operations throughout Maryland.
Since 1990, Patuxent Materials, Inc. has been involved with the production and sale of recycled concrete and asphalt products. By offering customers affordable disposable options for concrete and asphalt rubble, Patuxent Materials, Inc. has grown to operate four stationary recycle sites and in the early 2000’s expanded services to include on-site contract crushing and currently operates three complete portable crushing plant spreads. As the current “Green” movement gains momentum, Patuxent Materials, Inc. is well positioned to assist customers with all their recycled needs.
Associated with the company’s disposal services, in 1999 an affiliated company, Patuxent Roll-Off, LLC was formed. Patuxent Roll-Off, LLC offers customers prompt disposal option for all construction and demolition debris, as well as, disposal services for all business and residential waste removal needs. Now with multiple locations, Patuxent Roll-Off provides service throughout the Baltimore-Washington Metro corridor, Washington D.C. and Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
In 2006, Patuxent Materials, Inc. purchased and reactivated operations of Blue Mount Quarry in White Hall, Maryland. With a complete overhaul of the site and installation of new processing equipment, the quarry now produces an array of state approved construction aggregate material sizes for all job site uses.
Bay Ready Mix Concrete, LLC is a recent addition to the family. With a central location in Annapolis Junction, the ready mix facility can deliver to contractors and homeowners in the Washington DC and Baltimore, Maryland areas with ease.
